My sister ended up staying at the hospital overnight, and has been there since Monday. It was discovered that she had multiple blood clots, that began in her leg and traveled up her body. The cause was birth control. The first two days she was at the hospital she had excruciating pain. Its the kind of pain you scream to be put to death for. It was horrific to be in the wake of this, but I would walk out of the room because I was scared shitless. I came to the hospital everyday, staying there ten hours to be with her. I usually leave with my dad around 11, while my mom stays overnight.

My sister gets very anxious and aggressive. She's constantly screaming at us to leave the room, to come back, to shut the fuck up, etc. We know its the drugs talking. She's always on morphine, vicodine, or some anxiety drug.

She is improving, and is expected to make a full recovery. She will be on blood thinners for a year and wont be able to eat certain food that conflict with the medication. She's going to be discharged by sunday and will be on more bed rest at my house. I try to look at the bright side of things because if I dont, she wont.

My friends have been good to me. They, being Guy, Jes, sometimes Maryam, Tif, and Frankie. They check up on me to see how things are going.

Although, the mighty of all the assholes in all of the lands is Cody. He doesnt care that he hasnt talked to me in weeks. He has no idea whats going on. All he cares about is Sam, Nicole, Heather, and Nick. Its ridiculous how easy it is for him to drop me. To be completely, ruthlessly, and disgustingly honest, if it werent for me he wouldnt have any friends at all. I befriended him in eighth grade and was literally his only friend. I introduced him to my friends and from there on. I dont consider him to be in my life at all anymore. I dont care. If he can just drop me like that then I must not mean much to him. High School is shitty and its weeding out my true friends left and right.

Well, I'm now frightened of birth control.

yea I wouldn't consider that guy to be a friend either.

Garlic is supposed to help thin the blood as well, maybe that might help a lil bit.

It's wierd how these things can start in your leg and then travel. There was an episode of House where one of those things went to her brain...bleh. Thankfully it didn't get that far for your sister.

Heh. Yeah...high school does weed out your friends. I think it's a good thing, because then you know who you truly value and who you might want to keep in touch with in the future.

Friends come and go, it's an ugly part of life. Cody sounds like a d-bag, you don't want to be around a person like that anyway.
